SCOTT AYRIS

Fitness and competitive sport have always been a part of my life. I grew up playing AFL and soccer, and around the age of 20 I developed a strong interest in strength training while preparing for a career in the Army. From that point on, training became more than just a hobby — it became a standard I held myself to every day.

During my time in the Army, I truly knuckled down on my fitness, often training twice on weekdays and competing in multiple games of sport across weekends. I’ve had the opportunity to lead and train group sessions of up to 70 soldiers, as well as deliver one-on-one coaching, which has shaped my ability to work with individuals at all levels and under varying demands.

I hold my Certificate III and IV in Fitness and bring over seven years of experience in both group training and 1:1 coaching. My background has taught me how to assess where someone is at, understand what’s required to progress, and help them move step by step toward their goals in a structured and realistic way.

My passion for health and fitness is what led me to coaching. I genuinely enjoy the challenge of working with individuals — no two people are the same — and I find real fulfilment in watching others grow, improve, and start to enjoy the process of training.

My coaching style is built around motivation, consistency, and accountability. I’m a perfectionist, but also a realist. I practice what I preach, hold myself accountable, and expect the same commitment from my clients. I take the time to understand what motivates each person, what they enjoy, and what might be holding them back. Using proven goal-setting methods, I create clear, achievable roadmaps that align with what my clients want from themselves.

I currently work with individuals who want to improve their sporting performance, prepare for careers in the armed forces or first responder roles, or simply need someone to help shift their mindset from “I don’t think I can” to “Let’s do this.” Results will always vary, but success ultimately comes down to effort, commitment, and trust in the process.

For me, success isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s about helping my clients become the happiest, healthiest, and fittest versions of themselves — while building confidence, leadership, and resilience that carries over into every part of life.
