
I’m Jess, a Personal Trainer, Gym Manager, and the coach behind Built Better Coaching.
I work with people across all training levels, from beginners learning how to move and train properly, to more experienced lifters wanting greater structure, refinement, and direction in their training. My role is to provide clarity inside the gym and help people train with intention rather than guesswork.
My coaching centres around strength training, body composition, and physique development, with a strong interest in aesthetics and bodybuilding style training principles. I place a high value on correct execution, progressive overload, and training that supports long term development rather than short term fixes.
Alongside personal training, I deliver group fitness sessions and am involved in the day to day running of the gym. This gives me a practical understanding of how people train in a shared gym environment and how to support a wide range of goals and experience levels.
I have been active in sport for most of my life, including playing tennis for many years. This background has shaped my approach to training, consistency, and discipline, and influences how I coach with a strong focus on sustainable habits and long term progress.
My approach to coaching is practical, structured, and individualised. Programs are designed with consideration for lifestyle, recovery, and sustainability, ensuring progress can be maintained over time.
